This is the temporary watering hole.
Date/Time: 2006:02:05 11:02:56
created by a check dam in a small canyon. I took some plaster prints - that's the white stuff on the upper right of the water. The prints were only found on that side of the water.
Mystery print

Maybe you can help us identify it.

one upper left corner, two overlaid middle, one lower right corner

direction of travel bottom right to upper left. I believe two in the middle might be a front and back print together.

Two deeper prints

Finger like digits more evident here, but I am not sure if this is due to impression in the mud.

This set seems to be sliding down a slight embankment. Again toes are well spread, assumably bearing full weight.
Three prints and one dog print.

These are the ones that I think look most like a ringtail.
Easy to see the central pad shape in these and the toes look a lot less finger-like.
Toes facing 7 o'clock, heel in the direction of 1 o'clock.

I believe this is might be a hind foot (?) This one looks a lot more like a bear print.
These are not the same tracks - probably ground squirrels.

I just took these to show what else is drinking at the water hole.

These are the original tracks which made me stop and count toes.
